This policy explains what UrRecover ("we", "us") collects when you visit urrecover.com/, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.

What we collect
Information you give us
If you email us or submit a form, we receive whatever you send — typically your email address and the content of your message. We use it to reply and for nothing else.
Information collected automatically
Like almost every website, our server logs record your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring page, pages viewed and timestamps. These logs are used for security and troubleshooting and are retained for a limited period.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful. It sets cookies and collects pseudonymised usage data including approximate location derived from IP address, device type and on-site behaviour. IP anonymisation is enabled. Google’s own privacy notice is at policies.google.com/privacy.
Advertising pixels
We may run advertising on Google Ads and Meta platforms. Their tags record that you visited a page so that we can measure ad performance and show relevant ads. You can opt out of personalised Google advertising at adssettings.google.com and manage Meta ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram account settings.
Affiliate tracking
When you click an outbound product link, the affiliate network sets a cookie so the vendor can attribute a purchase to us. That cookie is controlled by the network and the vendor, not by us. We receive aggregate reports showing that a sale occurred — never your name, address or payment details.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Essential cookies aside, blocking them will not stop the site working.
Legal basis (UK and EU visitors)
We rely on legitimate interests for security logging and basic site operation, and on your consent for analytics and advertising cookies. Where consent is required, it is requested through our cookie banner and you can withdraw it at any time by clearing cookies or using the banner controls.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in a portable format, or withdraw consent. California residents additionally have the right to know what is collected, request deletion, and opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA. We do not sell personal information.

Data sharing
We do not sell or rent your data. We share it only with service providers who help operate the site — our hosting provider, analytics and advertising platforms, and affiliate networks — and only to the extent needed. Some of these are located outside the UK and EEA; transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
Retention
Server logs are kept for up to 12 months. Analytics data is retained for 14 months. Email correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data. No website can guarantee absolute security.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage.
Complaints
UK visitors may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. EU visitors may complain to their national supervisory authority. We would appreciate the chance to resolve it first.
